Project Development
Brickfield, Burchette, Ritts & Stone, P.C. represents clients in the development and financing of mid and large scale energy and infrastructure projects. We are involved in those projects at the earliest due diligence stage. Our experience includes the development and financing of power plants and transmission facilities owned in their entirety by electric cooperatives and the development of projects owned by multiple entities, each with its individual ownership interest held as a tenant-in-common. We have negotiated numerous joint ownership and operating agreements related to jointly owned projects. We have also successfully closed transactions relating to the purchase of existing facilities.
