Building Codes and Regulation

Brickfield, Burchette, Ritts & Stone, P.C. represents manufacturers of building products regarding national, state and local building regulation and code issues. This practice includes:

  • Development and advocacy of proposed amendments to and interpretations of model, state and local codes and regulations (such as the International Building Code, and International Residential Code)
  • Analysis of and advice on such building regulations and their effect on industry stakeholders

One of the firm's members serves as an adjunct faculty member in the University of Maryland School of Architecture, Urban Studies and Planning Program, teaching urban planning and zoning law.
