Mr. Mohler joined Brickfield, Burchette Ritts & Stone, P.C. as an associate in late 1999, and became Of Counsel in 2005.   From 1996 to 1999, he was an associate with the law firm of Collier, Shannon, Rill & Scott as a member of their telecommunications and litigation sections. Prior to that, he served as law clerk to Judge Thomas S. Kenny (deceased) of the Circuit Court of Fairfax County, Virginia.

Mr. Mohler has substantial litigation experience at the federal, state, and regulatory level. Since joining Brickfield, Burchette, Ritts & Stone, P.C. he has been involved in numerous FERC proceedings concerning transmission issues and state regulation proceedings related to electric supply.  He has also participated in state rulemaking dockets associated with electric utility restructuring. In addition, Shaun previously worked extensively with the in-house counsel and business personnel of a major local telephone company to develop company policy and written testimony in preparation for hearings before federal and state regulatory commissions concerning the deregulation of local phone markets.

Mr. Mohler is a graduate of The American University, Washington College of Law (J.D. 1995) and served as the Managing Editor of The American University Law Review , Volume 44. He is also the co-author of Timing Is Everything in Patent Litigation-Fulfilling the Promise of Markman , Federal Circuit Bar Journal (Fall 1999). Mr. Mohler received his B.A. from the University of Virginia in 1990.
