Mr. Lavanga joined Brickfield, Burchette, Riotts & Stone, P.C. as an associate in August, 2000, and became Of Counsel in 2006.   Mr. Lavanga has worked on various regulatory and transactional matters on behalf of the firm's industrial, municipal, and cooperative clients.

Mr. Lavanga received a B.A. from the Catholic University of America in 1991, and an M.A. in history from Catholic University in 1995. Prior to attending law school, he was a legal assistant with Brickfield, Burchette & Ritts. Mr. Lavanga is a graduate of the University of Maryland School of Law, J.D., with honor , 2000, where he was Manuscripts Editor of the Maryland Law Review.
