Mr. Davis is a Principal in the Austin, Texas office of Brickfield, Burchette, Ritts & Stone, P.C. Mr. Davis' practice primarily involves the representation of rural electric cooperatives before the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT). Such representation involves transmission line certification cases, rulemaking proceedings, and contested case hearings. Mr. Davis has also represented large industrial clients before the PUCT in various proceedings.

Mr. Davis, a registered lobbyist, has been intimately involved in the Texas electric restructuring and deregulation proceedings, appearing before the Texas Legislature and the Public Utility Commission on behalf of electric cooperatives and industrial clients.

In addition to his regulatory practice, Mr. Davis has also represented clients in complex civil litigation before state and federal courts and courts of appeal. Cases have included contract litigation for the recovery of electric rate overcharges, litigation over construction and management of nuclear power plants, and litigation relating to construction of residential multi-family housing.

Mr. Davis is a graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska Law School. Mr. Davis is admitted to practice before the Texas Supreme Court and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
