Mr. Wright joined the Firm in 2003 as an associate in the Austin, Texas office of Brickfield Burchette Ritts & Stone, P.C. He graduated from Abilene Christian University with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Minor in Economics in 1996. Mr. Wright attended the Texas Tech University School of Law and earned is J.D. in May of 2002 and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in November of 2002.

Mr. Wright grew up in rural East Texas and has always been actively involved in the family business. While attending ACU Mr. Wright served in various leadership roles including Student Body Vice President. While at Texas Tech he focused his course work on transactional law, as well as participating in trial advocacy and in mock trials. John T. was also actively involved as Class President and as a Class Officer all three years of law school.

Throughout the last twelve years, Mr. Wright has been actively involved with Wilderness Trek Christian Camp which operates in central Colorado. Mr. Wright participated in the camp at a young age and has served in various roles throughout the years including: crew member, staff and guide. Mr. Wright currently serves on the Board of Directors for Wilderness Trek.

While in undergraduate school and during law school Mr. Wright became involved in the entertainment industry. Mr. Wright has promoted major entertainment acts and has had experience in various aspects of the entertainment and music industry, including: promotion, booking, management, road management, and production. These experiences prompted Mr. Wright to Study International Film and Music law at Pepperdine University's London campus in the summer of 2000, and pursue opportunities outside of school to learn more about entertainment law.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Wright worked on a State Senate Campaign and a U.S. Congressional campaign. During the summer of 2001, Mr. Wright clerked in the Austin office of Brickfield Burchette Ritts & Stone, P.C.
